PLUTO'S COMMUNION
with the
GALACTIC CENTER

Pluto is our smallest and most distant planet Pluto is our smallest and most distant planet. It was not discovered until 1930. Pluto is defined by astrologers as the planet of life, death, rebirth, transformation, transmutation and metamorphosis. Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make a complete orbit and has a very erratic path. Often it will move within the orbit of Neptune on its journey. Its motion primarily deals with processes not events.

Pluto entered Sagittarius in November 1995

Pluto entered Sagittarius in 1995 and has not been there previously in our lifetime. The sign of Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet. Jupiter is the planet of abundance, expansion, magnification - but also overindulgence and greed. Considered the Greater Benefic of the Zodiac, it is known in most circles as the "good news" planet.

Jupiter is currently in Scorpio. The sign of Scorpio is ruled by both Mars and Pluto. Mars is the planet of blood, war, aggression, libido (act of pro-creation), decision, surgery and motivation. Coupled with the ponderous mysterious forces of Pluto, Jupiter has been calling us to delve deeper into our motivations and decisions and expanding our ability to transform and expand. Jupiter will move into Sagittarius on November 5, 2006 and is slated to conjoin the GALACTIC CENTER as well on December 5, 2007.

The GALACTIC CENTER

The GALACTIC CENTER is located at 26 degrees and 52 minutes of Sagittarius. It is the fixed focal point of our galaxy and perhaps others that lie beyond the veil. It is the womb of the Universe as we know it. The photographs of this black hole surrounded by Brights are awesome to the viewer. The Sabian Symbol of this degree is: A sculptor at his work. Perhaps Creation itself emerged from this magnificent portal.

HISTORY OF PLUTO
and the GALACTIC CENTER

Because of Pluto's ponderous and erratic orbit, it takes approximately 248 years for it to return to any arbitrary point, including the coordinates of the GALACTIC CENTER.

It conjoined the GALACTIC CENTER in 1514 and then in 1760. It now approaches its first conjunction of three that will occur this December 27, 2006. Why three? It us because Pluto has an extended retrograde cycle due to its distance from the Sun. It will conjoin the GALACTIC CENTER, retrograde (or appear to move backwards across the Heavens), back over the GALACTIC CENTER and then resume direct observation and move over the point one more time! This is its usual path. It conjoined the GALACTIC CENTER three times in 1514 and 1760 as well!

Pluto's Upcoming Conjunctions
with the GALACTIC CENTER

July 21, 2007 at 02.33.14AM EDT
October 23, 2007 at 06:38.35PM EDT

At this time, let us take a look back over the past 5 centuries and see what has occurred or regenerated as a result of this celestial event.

1514

  • The New Testament in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek and Latin was finished.

  • Copernicus first observed Saturn.

  • Balboa claimed discovery of the Pacific Ocean (South Sea)

  • Sultan Selim I eliminated his brothers and took conquest of Syria and Egypt and proceeded to absorb the Arab lands of the Middle East and North Africa. Temporarily occupied Iraq, eastern Anatolia and northern Iraq. There was a revolt of the peasants in Hungary against the ruthless exploitation by the aristocrats. It was suppressed. Protestantism begins to spread but met with much resistance.

  • The battle of Chaldiran spawned in NW Persia. The Ottomans (Sunni Muslims from Turkey) and the Safavids (Shiite Muslims from Persia) fought. The Ottomans prevailed but chose not to continue the campaign into the Safavid capitol. The reason for this is not mentioned in our US History books.

1760

  • Halley's Comet was discovered.

  • George III ascended the throne in the middle of the Seven Year's War.

  • Both Quebec and Montreal fell in the French and Indian War.

  • First treatise on Atomic Theory was written.

  • Beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

  • Systematic stock breeding was pioneered.

  • King George III weakened the Whig Party through bribery, coercion and patronage. He expelled those who were strong and not "yes" men from his group of advisors. Men of mediocre talent were picked by George III as Cabinet members. Tom Pain wrote of King George III: "an ass for a lion" in the person of the King. King George III ultimately went insane due to a debilitating hereditary disease and his regime suffered a major decline.

JUPITER CONJOINS the GALACTIC CENTER in 1995

It takes Jupiter 12 years to complete one tour of the Zodiac. Every 12 years, Jupiter conjoins the GALACTIC CENTER. Jupiter last conjoined the GALACTIC CENTER coordinates in December 1995.
  • On Dec 15, 1995, due to "quadruple-witching" volume on the NY stock Exchange records at 638 million shares!

  • On Dec 16, 1995 we experienced the Iraq disarmament crisis. Iraqi scuba divers under UNSCOM jurisdiction found over 200 prohibited Russian made missile instruments and components in the Tigris River near Baghdad.

  • An upgraded Doctrine for Joint Nuclear Operations was implemented. Now in place, were articles of chemical and biological warfare as well. This agency ceased to exist and in this cycle we have the United States Strategic Command.

Mars - The Activator

Mars has both a good and bad reputation! It gets things done! Both Aries and Scorpio are particularly affected by Mars transits. Traditionally wars, confrontation, the demonstration of passion, all typify the transits of Mars. Mars conjoins the GALACTIC CENTER January 12th, 2007!!!!

Mars opposes the GALACTIC CENTER in Gemini on September 22, 2007. This opposition serves as a challenge for two seemingly opposite factions. For instance: Freedom versus oppression; abundance versus lack; etc. Oppositions yield either compromise or battle, unity or division.

The stage now set - on. Dec 4, 2007 with Mars Retrograde at ~10 degrees in Cancer -Jupiter conjoins the GALACTIC CENTER, magnifying the desire to expand. The energy is similar to the great effort applied when a butterfly struggles from its chrysalis. Mars in Cancer is in its Fall. Arguments and testimonies may be shelved for a rebirthing at this time.

Mars continues to retrograde and opposes the GALACTIC CENTER in Gemini on January 11, 2008. When retrograde, often there is a desire or decision to retract an action or declaration. Old arguments re-surface and debates may be heated. When Mars is in Cancer, blatant offenses to honor or leadership will make deep impressions.

Mars resumes direct motion and opposes the GALACTIC CENTER in Gemini once again on February 22, .2008 - and accompanying a square to the Virgo Moon! In this opposition, what side of the fence you are on should be crystal clear! Will you take part in the transformation, or go deep underground?

Other Significant Events!

Line up with many fixed stars and a line-up with the Sun, Moon, Earth and GALACTIC CENTER occurs at the Full Moon Phase of the Summer Solstice. A similar line up was seen upon the Tsunami last year. The Uranus/Pluto line goes through Los Angeles, Baghdad and Japan. Unexpected events that will call for preparation may be imminent in these areas.

Saturn and Neptune angling off with each other often indicate tectonic shifts. They oppose each other technically most of June and July this year on the Leo/Aquarius axis.. Shifts in structure or dissolution of structures can be triggered by faster moving bodies moving at a 90 degree angle or square. A Mars in Taurus square the last week of July seems particularly haunting. Land that once could bear fruit or be inhabitable may no longer be able to do so for a time.

HOW CAN WE DEAL WITH THIS PROCESS SPIRITUALLY?

December 28, 2006 Pluto exactly conjunct GALACTIC CENTER

This is only the first conjunction! Draw in structures that are protective and visionary at this time!

Personal Pose

If you have any planet within 24 to 28 degrees angling with the GALACTIC CENTER - you will really feel this shift! Those born with planets at late degree in mutable signs will feel it most. If you do not you will be working double-time to aid in the transformative power of this event! Aries and Scorpio will have strong ideas and be clear. If you have planets in this sector, you will be very busy! If you are a late Sagittarius, you will literally feel the Earth move - literally and metaphysically.

This is the preparation time before Mars and Jupiter moves forward to the GALACTIC CENTER next year and Pluto redefines the transformation in its next two passes!
