EMBRACING THE INFINITE SOPHIA

It is with great joy that I will be introducing at Lifestream this July, my exhaustive study of the mysteries and devotions that crystallize the ancient Sophia. This is a time of great change and we all have been feeling called to nurture our environment, our gifts and re-write a more harmonious destiny into the archives of history.
Sophian wisdom pervades many cultures and has been a source of controversy since before our earliest accounts of Creation itself. Some see her as the primordial essence of the very peace through exaltation of the Spirit that we identify with as Heaven. Others see her as the Great Goddess; while still others attach her to an archetype intrinsic to each Goddess along the path of time. Some see Mother Earth as an embodiment of her versatility and integration of forces.
The renewed search for Sophia sprang up with the feminist revival in the 1960's, but she has been honored and deeply loved in ancient art and history. Sophia, the supreme essence of wisdom, belongs to everyone. Each of us has a Mars and a Venus position in our natal chart. Integrating these forces is what we experience as evolvement or a blissful yin/yang balance. As we become one and harmonious with each cycle of our lives, we experience the true joy and awareness of our own Infinite Spirit.
